Joining her on stage at the Caveau des Légendes, rue Jacob, will be Australian academic and author, Carolyn Burke, whose recent book on Edith Piaf,  'No Regrets : The Life of Edith Piaf' reveals many previously unknown details about Piaf.<br />

Entitled 'Australia and Europe: Manning the Barricades', Mr Blythe highlighted Australia's position as the global economy enters into ' a dangerous new phase' (IMF).  The Australian economic story has been an easy one to sell in the past few years post Lehman's when the country dodged the global recession bullet. <br />
Financial concerns in the North American economy are lifting again and the debate about Australia's economic resilience has resurfaced.<br />

Eighteen films and 5 documentaries, chosen by Festival Director and ABIE board member Bernard Bories, ranged from the beautiful and the brave to the slightly bizarre. Jean-Pierre Tuveri, the Mayor of Saint Tropez said 'Since it began in 1999, a permanent feature has been the Festival's capacity to surprise and captivate us.
